About
Plain-language information about health coverage, sent by text
What we do
Trend Tactics publishes guides and sends text updates that explain health coverage in plain language. The aim is simple: to help people notice the moments that matter, such as an enrollment deadline or a change to a plan's network, and to understand what those moments mean.
Updates may include enrollment period reminders, alerts when a plan changes its costs or network, and short explanations of terms such as deductibles, coinsurance and formularies. The guides on this site go into more depth on the same topics.
How we write
- We use ordinary words and define a term the first time it appears.
- We describe how coverage typically works, and say so when rules vary by plan or by state.
- We point to official sources such as HealthCare.gov and your state's marketplace for current dates and plan details.
- We keep text messages short, open each one with our name, and include how to stop.
- We send messages only to people who checked the consent box themselves.
Who operates the site
This site and its text message program are operated by Trend Tactics, LLC, a private company based at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Suite 1950, Miami, FL 33131.
Coverage options, costs and rules vary by plan and by where you live, and they change from year to year. For a full view of the plans available to you, HealthCare.gov and your state's marketplace list every marketplace plan in your area.
