When you sign up for text updates using the sign-up form, we collect:

• Your first name and last name.
• Your mobile phone number.
• The state you live in.
• Your consent selection, meaning whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages, together with the consent record described below.

We also collect your email address and the contents of your message, if you write to us. If you reply to a text message, we receive the contents of your reply and the number it was sent from.

When you visit the site, our servers and your browser exchange technical information that is collected automatically. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, user agent, device type, operating system, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of each request.

The site also keeps an essential item in your browser's local storage to remember that you closed the cookie notice. It is described in the Cookie Policy. We use no advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party profiling.

We use the information described above to:

• Send the text messages you agreed to receive, and tailor them to the state you live in.
• Respond to replies, HELP requests and messages you send us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy, and this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your mobile phone number and consent are used to deliver the text message program you signed up for and to keep the consent and opt-out records it requires. Details of the program appear in the TCPA & Messaging Policy.

We may disclose information in these circumstances:

• To service providers that host the site or operate the messaging platform on our behalf, under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services to us.
• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or to respond to a lawful request from a public authority.
• When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Trend Tactics, our users or others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.

All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent personal information.

We keep sign-up information for as long as you remain subscribed to text updates, and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Consent records, including the wording shown to you, the timestamp, the page address, the IP address and the user agent, are kept for as long as needed to show that consent was given, which may extend beyond the date you opt out. Opt-out records are kept so that we continue to honour your request. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse and alteration, including encrypted connections to the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Please include your name and the mobile number you signed up with so we can locate your records. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Some information may be kept where the law requires or permits it, such as consent and opt-out records.

To stop text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. This does not delete your records, so if you also want deletion, email us as described above.

The site and the text message program are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and change the last updated date above. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already provided, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before it takes effect.
